Devices can be suspended for up to 6 months in a 12 month period and can be reactivated at any time. Suspended devices remain in your account and are designated as "Suspended". You can preserve and access the device history in your account including prior locates but the device will not operate while it is suspended.
To suspend a device simply go to deactivations.dewaltmobilelock.com
The cost is $2.50/month per suspended device and will begin the month following the suspension.

There is no reactivation fee when a device is taken back to active status from suspend.
Devices that are deactivated are removed from your account and no further service charges apply. When a device is deactivated the Mobile ID number in the device is reclaimed by the cellular carrier. When this happens, the device cannot reactivate unless it is reprovisioned. Only devices that you plan on not using again should be deactivated.
The following are the steps to reprovision a deactivated DS500 device:
- New passwords will be applied for from Sprint and after they are received (please allow up to 2 weeks) the device will run through provisioning in the next scheduled run.
We reserve the right to replace the device with a new or reconditioned one if that is deemed quicker and easier.
The cost of the reprovisioning is $100 and covers the cost of shipping and handling.
- The reprovisioned or replaced devices will be pre-activated into your account. A $20 activation fee will apply.
DS600 devices can be reprovisioned over the air (OTA). Simply go to deactivations.dewaltmobilelock.com request to do so along with the MEID number of the device and your contact information.
